 Jodie graduated in 2002 from Salford University with an honours degree in Sports Rehabilitation (see below for details of the role of the sports rehabilitator). From that time, Jodie has worked with a variety of professional and amateur football clubs including Ipswich Town FC and Notts County FC providing injury diagnosis and treatment.
Jodie gained International Institute of Health and Holistic Therapies (IIHHT) qualifications in 1999 in sports massage and body massage and has provided sports and body massage to individuals from various sporting backgrounds. Jodie is also an FA approved tutor and regularly works as a lecturer in further education establishments.
Jodie is a member of the British Association of Sports Rehabilitators and Trainers (BASRaT) and the Federation of Holistic Therapies (FHT).
